Hi

Im working on new things for flashboot. One thing is the ability to
save config to USB-stick and/or floppy.
When using the floppy with GENERIC-RD i found that isadma0 is set to
disable (due to isa dma space problems with large ramdisks?) wich
causes kernel panic when trying to access fd0. I looked in the
mailing list archive and found that this was done some 2 years ago
when flashboot was based on openbsd 3.7. Then I checked
http://www.openbsd.org/plus40.html and found "# Move the i386 kernel
up 1MB in virtual address space to provide more space for isadma(4)."

I am now using latest cvs with "option MINIROOTSIZE=30720" and
enabled isadma0 in GENERIC-RD.
Accessing floppy works fine and I se no problem with reenabling
isadma0 in current.

What are your thoughts about this?

Yours
