I am using it as a part of my research in botnet detection. When I try to run any *softflowctl* command in terminal, I get the following error: *ctl connect("/var/run/softflowd.ctl") error: Connection refused* Please help me with this. -- Regards, JAVAD V M-Tech 2014-15 College of Engineering Trivandrum [image: https://www.facebook.com/javadvilangil] -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... To explain, I don't get any output when I run softflowd as : softflowd -i eth0 -n ip:port. But I get output when I run softflowd with -d and -D options. Why is it so? I'm a newbie, so please ignore any triviality in the question. -- Regards, JAVAD V M-Tech 2014-15 College of Engineering Trivandrum [image: https://www.facebook.com/javadvilangil] -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I'm a newbie, so please ignore any triviality in the question. Do you mean that you don't see any output at your netflow collector or that you don't see any on stdout/stderr? -d
