Got a similar compile problem with AIX 5.1 and gcc 2.9
In file included from ../openbsd-compat/port-aix.h:35,
                 from ../openbsd-compat/openbsd-compat.h:166,
                 from ../includes.h:173,
                 from bsd-arc4random.c:25:
/usr/include/sys/audit.h:271: parse error before `0200'
/usr/include/sys/audit.h:286: parse error before `}'
make: 1254-004 The error code from the last command is 1. 

The patch did solve the problem
