Summary: ssh-copy-id carries on if ssh fails
Product: Portable OpenSSH
Version: 3.6.1p2
Platform: All
URL: http://bugs.debian.org/215252
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: minor
Priority: P2
Component: Miscellaneous
AssignedTo: openssh-bugs at mindrot.org
ReportedBy: cjwatson at debian.org
If ssh fails, for instance because the user mistyped the hostname, ssh-copy-id
carries on and tells them to try logging into the machine to check that
everything's OK. It should check the exit code and itself exit immediately at
that point.
I'll attach a patch in a moment.
