Well, the problem affect ssh in general when traversing a NAT (IP masquerading)
firewall. But since sshd is usually located in the gateway-NAT and used as Tunel
terminator the problem get mainly noticed when tunneling (port forwarding) some
other protocol (VNC, SMB, ...).
