./configure --with-pie --with-ssl-dir=/usr/local/lib/ --with-libedit
--with-ldns --with-zlib --with-selinux LIBS='-pthread'

dunno how to check if libcrypto is static or not:

$ whereis libcrypto
libcrypto: /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.a
$ file /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.a
/usr/local/lib/libcrypto.a: current ar archive

libcrypto is from LibreSSL 2.9.1 and was compiled with --with-pie too,
if it does matter.
