Actually, I expected this tilde expansion command to work on
`known_hosts` file.

Expected output:

    # Host johndoe found: line 1
    /home/jilldoe/.ssh/known_hosts updated.
    Original contents retained as /home/jilldoe/.ssh/known_hosts.old
