            Bug ID: 3120
Summary: Codespell report for "openssh" (on fossies.org)
           Product: Portable OpenSSH
           Version: 8.2p1
          Hardware: Other
                OS: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: trivial
          Priority: P5
         Component: Miscellaneous
          Assignee: unassigned-bugs at mindrot.org
          Reporter: Jens.Schleusener at fossies.org

The FOSS server fossies.org offers a new feature "Source code
misspelling reports":

 https://fossies.org/features.html#codespell

Such reports are normally only generated on request, but for testing
purposes I have as Fossies administrator now done a "codespell" check
for the "openssh" (portability) project:

 https://fossies.org/linux/misc/openssh/codespell.html

That version-independent URL should redirect always to the last report
(if available), so currently to

 https://fossies.org/linux/misc/openssh-8.2p1.tar.gz/codespell.html

Although some obviously wrong matches ("false positives") are already
filtered (ignored) please inform me if you find more of them so that I
can force a new improved check if applicable.

Ok, most of the found errors are "only" in the ChangeLog file and some
spelling suggestions are worth discussing, but maybe it's nevertheless
meaningful to correct the few remaining ones.

Just for information there are also two supplemental pages

 https://fossies.org/linux/misc/openssh/codespell_conf.html

showing some used "codespell" configurations,

 https://fossies.org/linux/misc/openssh/codespell_fps.html

showing all resulting obvious "false positives".
