Based on Damien's patch in Comment 16, I made additional changes and
had a verified working example of Webauthn-based ssh ecdsa signatures.
I upstreamed the code change in
https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable/pull/625 and
https://github.com/openssh/openssh-portable/pull/624.
