Yes, if clearing the screen is acceptable, then `reset` is fine.
I’m currently working with this AI-generated snipped, but I don’t
expect openssh wants to be business of keeping up with this growing
list of codes:
tfix() {
stty sane
printf
'\e[?1000l\e[?1002l\e[?1003l\e[?1005l\e[?1006l\e[?1015l\e[?1016l' #
mouse tracking (all variants)
printf '\e[?1004l' # focus in/out events
printf '\e[?2004l' # bracketed paste
printf '\e[?2026l' # synchronized output
printf '\e[?1l\e>' # normal cursor keys + numeric keypad
printf '\e[>4;0m' # xterm modifyOtherKeys off
printf '\e[=0;1u' # kitty keyboard protocol flags -> 0
printf '\e[?7h\e[?25h\e[0 q' # autowrap on, cursor visible,
default cursor shape
printf '\e[0m\e(B' # reset colors/attributes, ASCII charset
printf '\e7\e[r\e8' # reset scroll region without moving the
cursor
}
