OpenSSH 1.2.2 and OpenSSL 0.9.4

I'm getting "error: Could not load host key: /usr/local/etc/ssh_host_key:
Success"

on two different systems (Caldera 2.3, Mandrake 6.0+a few fixes)

I haven't been able to track it down any further (sshd.c; looks like it's
looking for errno stuff but it's not set)

Anyways, I'm not -yet- familiar with the operation of either package so
any assistance would be most appreciated :)
