I'm trying to ssh into a server (RedHat 6.1) as root. And it's
complaining about bad password. I set logging to debug and this is what
it comes up with in the /var/log/messages file...

Mar 24 10:38:08 clunk sshd[9830]: Connection from 192.168.0.102 port 605
Mar 24 10:38:08 clunk sshd[9830]: Failed rsa for ROOT from 192.168.0.102
port 605
Mar 24 10:38:14 clunk sshd[9830]: Failed password for ROOT from
192.168.0.102 port 605
Mar 24 10:38:18 clunk sshd[9830]: Connection closed by 192.168.0.102
Mar 24 10:38:18 clunk sshd[9830]: Cannot close PAM session: System error
Mar 24 10:38:18 clunk sshd[9830]: Cannot delete credentials:
Authentication service cannot retrieve user credentials

Any help on how to get this up and working would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve
