Post 2.5.0, I'd really appreciate some more eyes on this - I have been 
beating my head against it for a while without much luck.

Still waiting on a full report.

8) Build failures on AIX. Please test the patch that I sent ~15 mins 
ago. Look at renaming files post 2.8
