OpenSSH-2.5.1p1 scp hangs when scping into an RH (6.0|7.0) box

Keep in mind that this isn't a workaround for people who don't use bash as
a shell. This problem also exists on FreeBSD machines so I'm a bit
suspicious that it's a Linux only problem?
