AIX problem

hi

I have two AIX 4.2.1.0 machines with OpenSSH 2.3.0p1.
When I try to compile something on the one of them cc print:

<snip>
cc: 1501-245 Warning: Hard ulimit has been reduced to less than
RLIM_INFINITY.
There may not be enough space to complete the compilation.
</snip>

If I use telnet to login to this machine. I can compile without any
problem.
I cannot figure out what exactly is going on.
