openssh.COM or openssh.ORG?

now both www.openssh.com and www.openssh.org are pointing
to the same location.
but domain holders (and NS records) of OPENSSH.COM and OPENSSH.ORG are
different.

which is the current situation?

  (1) both domains are controlled by OPENSSH developer team.
      use any you like.

  (2) openssh.COM is the official domain name for OPENSSH.
      openssh.org happens to point to the openssh.com now.

  (3) openssh.org will be the official domain name for OPENSSH.
      openssh.com will be "secondary" domain name for OPENSSH.

and I wish someone put description around this domain name issues
to the history or FAQ page...
