utmp entries

[Root of all evil]

Apparently, on Slackware linux (2.2.19 kernel, gcc 2.7.2.3/glibc 2.0)
it doesn't update the utmp entries successfully.

ie:

after exiting from my ssh connection, it leaves a 'ghost' in the utmp file
of me being still connected.

Apparently the utmp file isn't being properly updated on disconnect.

This is with openssh-2.9.9p2
