Openssl and openssh

Hello All,
For the past two days, in the open source world there are serious
discussions about the OpenSSL vulnerabilities.
I had seen some recommendations for and against that these vulnerabilities
affects OpenSSH.

To what extent OpenSSH supports certificates. My search in openssh sites and
discussions, gave me an understanding that OpenSSH does not support
certificates for authentication. Also, to what extent ASN.1 has an impact on
OpenSSH?

Opinions and answers are highly appreciated.
