3.0.2p1 under IRIX (coredumps)

Jan-Frode, I certainly appreciate the offer and any time you put into
it, but for security reasons I need to build something like this
from source code.  I wish I could use your build and be done with it,
but it's just not an option for us.  Again, thank you though!
