Are you proposing some other way of working around this?
You could use co-processes, one to run the PAM API, passing the
questions and getting responses from the co-process that's running
dispatch_run(). When I say "co-process" I mean the computer science
concept, not necessarily a fork()ed process.
Or you could choose to support Linux-PAM but not Sun PAM, I suppose.
