That never stopped Debian from doing something. Being a minority or
not is one of the worst possibly reasons for doing something.

:: isn't added to ListenAddress at the moment I think, there are
some ipv4/ipv6 issues that break if you do that.

Keep in mind that the Debian ssh package was pretty much unmaintained
for a long time and people are working on it now. Matthew has already
been active on this list for a while now, he just never mentioned
he is maintaining the Debian package now iirc.

That is a completely different argument. We happen to like to have a
standard for things in the Linux world, and the relevant standard in
this case is FHS. You don't have to agree with it, but having a
standard is a good thing.

I did look through them before handing out the URL. And yes, a lot of
them are silly and should be closed, but as I said earlier unfortunately
the Debian ssh package wasn't maintained for a while and a lot of cruft
piled up in that list.

So it was never filed as a bugreport, doesn't change much.
