It exists in Solaris 9 but not on previous releases:

$ uname -srp      
SunOS 5.9 sparc
$ arp
Usage: arp hostname
       arp -a [-n]
       arp -d hostname
       arp -s hostname ether_addr [temp] [pub] [trail]
       arp -f filename
