impedence mismatch between openssh 3.4p1 and openssl 0.9.6d on SCO OpenServer 3.2 5.0.6

Thanks for your reply.

rs506a is installed
libcrypto.a is installed in /usr/local/ssl/ 
OpenSSL's make test did pass
