UsePrivilegeSeparation: "fatal: xrealloc: out of memory"

This seems unrelated though, because as I mentioned in my first
message, I only have this problem when UsePrivilegeSeparation is
enabled.  With "UsePrivilegeSeparation no", ``-2 -C'' works fine.
