SSH Commands Initiated from Apache Fail

Hi,

I don't know if this is a bug or not.  

I use Apache web server and perl cgi's and modules to start a shell script
which runs a simple ssh command:

/usr/local/bin/ssh  $dest rm -r /directory/tree/to/be/removed

This works fine from the command line.  However, when run from the web
server, it fails.  The error return code is 255.  The user in both cases
is the same and publickey authentication is used.

Any ideas?  Thanks!
