Summary: no access to tty on Linux 2.0
           Product: Portable OpenSSH
           Version: 3.6p1
          Platform: ix86
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: sshd
        AssignedTo: openssh-unix-dev at mindrot.org
        ReportedBy: jfeise at ics.uci.edu

On Linux kernel 2.0.36, upgraded from OpenSSH 3.5p1 to 3.6p1, now get the
following error when I connect to the machine:
Warning: no access to tty (Inappropriate ioctl for device).
Thus no job control in this shell.

This only happens for users with csh or tcsh as default shell.
tcsh is the latest version, 6.12.00.
If I run sshd -d, the error does not show up.
