Bug with OpenSSH and Crontab under Solaris 8

Sounds like the BSM auditting issue.  You can try one of the patches in 
the bug:
http://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=125

Alternatively, you can use the option "UseLogin yes" in sshd_config (but 
be aware this will disable X11 forwarding).
