Yo All!

Wrappers are the way to go.  Make each tool do one thing well and leave
the rest to others.

Someone just posted a cool http/https standalonse tunnel for ssh on the
pen-test mailing list.  Smart enough to log in and pass packets through
a firewall proxy.
