Oh, I agree that it should not take such a long time to twig that "0" is not
a service name, but Openstep can through a few NetInfo layers and through an
NIS services map before it gets to that point. :)

I think the use of "0" instead of NULL is wrong, but I'm not sure. I'll take
a look over the weekend.
Then again, getservbyname("0") taking time is wrong too :)
