Solaris/PAM/AFS: can't make it work

Ok, another mistake on my part. I have been rebuilding this so many 
times, I lost track. I think I did try the threads fix on 3.8p1. I 
then downloaded 3.8.1p1 when I tried Christian Pfaffel's patches. 
Never went back to try threads on the new version.

This morning, I started with a fresh copy of 3.8.1p1 and built it 
with threads and it now seems to be working.
