New HPN patch released for 3.9

I really need to get more sleep before I touch a keyboard. I'll take a 
look at it. I wouldn't be surprised if I screwed it up because I found 
a typo in it yesterday.

I'll have the 4.0 patch out soon as well. After I have someone who has 
had more sleep to review it.
