Enabling ServerAliveInterval by default

This is correct for some definition of "you" and "remote peer".

What do you do when "you" is a workstation in a large company, and
"remote peer" is a workstation in large university? You obvious can't
convince either of these sites to stop using their firewall/nat/whatever,
even if you have good arguments.
