We're looking into providing pre-compiled binaries of various flavors of 
the hpn patch. I had meant to get this started early but I didn't get 
the intern I planned on getting for this summer. I've not done it in the 
past because I don't want anyone to think I'm forking the code. However, 
there has been a call for this from the community I'm trying to support 
and as such its been 'suggested' by my higher ups that I do this. Its 
also been 'suggested' that this be available by November
(for the SC'08 convention).
