Zlib.h error

Hello,

I am having trouble configuring my openssh 5.2p1 install.  I keep getting
"configure: error: *** zlib.h missing - please install first or check
config.log* ". I updated and installed the correct version of ZLIB needed
from the prereq.  Can you please help me?
