Hi Damien,

Unfortunately, this breaks the command-line compatibility between scp(1)
and sftp(1) that was recently achieved. Admittedly, sftp doesn't support
transfers between two remote hosts, but it might be worthwhile to add
some dummy support to sftp(1) to preserve the compatibility. In other
words, it should accept but ignore -3.
