FYI FreeBSD uses the patch from
https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2016

It does not currently apply cleanly to 6.6p1 though. I did some tweaks
to get the security/openssh-portable port to compile, but have not
tested it.

It would be great if it were upstreamed.
