would you kindly let this question rest now?  You received an
official answer, and it is perfectly in line with long-established
and well-known OpenSSH project goals.

Please consider that every message on this list reaches a large
number of people, many of them quite busy professionals, so a good
signal-to-noise ratio is desirable.
