I already reported this but a few months ago when I was using openSSH
2.9x, it's the same bug.<br><br>
And no - it's not the server end that is stalling me on a revese
lookup:<br>
1. I was doing ssh localhost, localhost resolves perfectly, the same for
127.0.0.1 (reverse)<br>
2. ssh -v shows me:<br><br>
debug1: Reading configuration data /usr/local/etc/ssh_config<br>
debug1: Seeding random number generator<br>
debug1: Rhosts Authentication disabled, originating port will not be
trusted.<br>
debug1: restore_uid<br>
debug1: ssh_connect: getuid 0 geteuid 0 anon 1<br><br>
And here it is getting stalled, there is no actual connection yet, hence
it could not be the end server that stalls me.<br><br>
