I understand that the queue is long, but my patch adds only 16 lines of
pretty trivial code. I really don't think it takes more than 5 minutes
to review it and decide whether or not it is the correct approach for
the desired function, because this new extension is only used to send 1
bit of information to the client - to treat filenames as utf-8. Please,
if any of the developers have 5 free minutes, have a look at the patch.
