I got this last night when trying to login to my work PC from home. The
problem seemed to stem from the fact that I tried to install openssl 0.9.6
rpms at work yesterday (with openssh 2.3.1 (I think) rpms). I've gone back to
openssl 0.9.5a and am using openssh 2.5.1p1 rpms with no problem. On the
Sun's we have no problem with 0.9.6 and openssh 2.5.1p1 but they are
complied from source. I suspect that compling openssl and openssh both from
source on the linux box will sort it out.

John.
