Well, I am now volunteering to be called an *sshole.

For some reason, and I promise with *no* changes of which I am aware on
either the client or the server machines, this is working fine now
(except scp but you already know about that... fyi I get "lost
connection" on scp, hopefully that is the error everyone else gets and
not something special happening to me ;) ).

You saw my ssh -v -v -v output from yesterday so you know I wasn't making
it up.  ;P  Anyway I guess we may as well put this to rest.  If it
happens again... I will just wait a day before re-testing and reporting.
