Hi All,

I am looking for to restrict users with rsh shell . Is there any way to do this ?
When i use rsh or rksh. ssh command is perfectly woking but scp and sftp is not. ??

or

is ther any way to restrict with directory permission ??
eg: user home directory is /home/ftpdir/user1

I would like to give /home/ftpdir . as 711 or 751.So the user will not be able list the
other users home directories. (chmod 751 . from /home/ftpdir )
This kind of permission is working with ssh and scp but sftp fails... ??
Anyone have idea about this ?? or any better methode ??

Thanks in advance.

Saju
