dirty hack to solve: 0509-150 Dependent modulelibcrypto.a(libcrypto.so.0.9.7) could not be loaded

Scott,

I found one solution.
It's necessary to use:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/opt/freeware/lib

Now, i have a sucessful "make install".
Of , course, i deleted the file libcrypto.a copied previously in /usr/lib.

Regards,
Frphoebus

I have installed OpenSSL 0.9.7.
ca06:/usr/local/etc/ssh# rpm -qa | grep openssl
        openssl-0.9.7l-2

You need OpenSSL 0.9.7
