Thanks Damien for the patch.

I found that channel_set_tcp_keepalives() is needed also in files
sshd-session.c and sshd-auth.c (or maybe needed just in ssh.c and
sshd-session.c, not needed and harmless in monitor_wrap.c or
sshd-auth.c?).

I merged your patches (with mentioned changes) into my 10.0p1 version
(as distributed by Debian) and with my (Sebastian's?) zstd compression
patches as per bug 2888. Will now test more extensively, maybe do some
more tidying of the man page descriptions, then post my patches here.
