Damien,

One other problem that has just come to light.  I have switched "UseLogin"
to "yes" and receive the following error message when attempting to ssh
into my AIX machine:

     /dev/pts/0: 3004-004 You must "exec" login from the lowest login
shell.

Switching back to 2.1.1p4 fixes this -- configured identically to the
latest snapshot (as per my last email).
