OpenSSH-2.5.1p1 scp hangs when scping into an RH (6.0|7.0) box

Hmm well yes I did use that option on my client end, but not on the RH
server side.

(Not sure whether the RPMs were compiled with that option.)

I just now re-compiled the RH6 box's copy with that option; no change,
scp still hangs as before.  :-\
