I checked out the CVS again (Thu Jan 25 08:56:42 PST 2001)
and found it would not even configure. test -S is not portable.
After taking out the offending code in configure.in, I find that
it builds on
Solaris 7
SCO Open Server 3 (3.2v4.2)
SCO Open Server 5.0.4
UnixWare 2.03
UnixWare 2.1.3
UnixWare 7.1.0
Caldera eDesktop 2.4

Now that it builds, I'll try and find some time to install/test.
