ageing passwords

hello.

I have recently complied openssh-2.9.9p2 on one of our Solaris boxes (an
E250) which is running Solaris 2.6.

we are using ageing passwords and have noticed that when prompted to change
an expired password, the passwords entered are echoed to the screen rather
than hidden.
