Just to be clear: this is still Simon's work, not mine.

Thanks for the testing.  Barring further changes or objections I'll commit
both the OpenBSD sync patch and this modified Portable patch tomorrow
(with [BEFORE|AFTER]_KRB5_GSSAPI_MERGE tags).
