IPv6 support?

Uh?  Openssh is about the software with the best IPv6 support that
I have seen so far...  I use it every day over v6 (at work) and it just
works as expected.

Just make sure you don't use a package that was built with "v4 only"
(like the MacOS X people do *sigh*).
